Drukpa Tshezhi

‘Drukpa Tshezhi’ – The First Sermon of Lord Buddha, observed on the 4th day of the 6th month of the Lunar Calendar, held on Wednesday, 14 July 2021 at Dhammaloka Buddist Centre, Perth, Western Australia has been a great success.

It was very fortunate that His Eminence Tshugla Lopen Karma Rangdrol Rinpoche from Zhung Dratshang (The Central Monastic Body of Bhutan) graced the occasion with teachings and blessed all Bhutanese and international devotees via a live audience on zoom. Over hundred participants took part in the recitation of ‘Sangay Menlha’ prayers during the event presided by Khenpo Tshering Wangchuk from Zhung Dratshang. The immense merits of this great holy event is dedicated for the well-being of all sentient beings, particularly to those affected by the current difficult circumstances of COVID-19 pandemic in Australia, Bhutan and around the world.

The traditional Bhutanese meals and refreshments served to the participants and guests at the event were generously sponsored by our community member friends and groups who have been always supporting Khamsum Zilnon Drukpai Lhakhang (KZDL) initiatives with great dedication at all times.
