Khamsum Zilnon Drukpai Lhakhang Inc. (KZDL) is a registered Buddhist Society in Western Australia founded under the patronage of His Eminence Laytshog Lopen Sangay Dorji Rinpoche from Zhung Dratshang – the Central Monastic Body of Bhutan. Venerable Khenpo Tshering Wangchuk from Zhung Dratshang is the Chairperson and resident spiritual teacher at its center in Perth, Western Australia.

The name, Khamsum Zilnon Drukpai Lhakhang has been blessed and conferred by His Holiness the 70th Je Khenpo Trulku Jigme Choedra of Zhung Dratshang – the Central Monastic Body of Bhutan for the Bhutanese Temple in Perth, Western Australia. ‘Khamsum Zilnon’ refers to the name of the founder of the Drukpa Lineage of Vajrayana Buddhism in Bhutan and ‘Drukpai Lhakhang’ means to Bhutanese Temple.

The Khamsum Zilnon Drukpai Lhakhang (KZDL) community has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a permanent spiritual home in Western Australia.

We are purchasing the property at 20 Koondoola Avenue to establish a traditional Bhutanese Lhakhang—a sacred space for practice, connection, and preserving our precious culture for future generations.
